How I got inspired creating the character
- The video game The Darkness was what got me into the comic series and creating the character. Development started June 2010.
- Had many names to select for the character, but when I played Wizard101(Don’t judge, my RL dad and sisters play it), I had a necromancer wizard girl named Mackenzie. That’s what lead me to picking that name for her.
- The stories I had planned were rewritten overtime, but I started rping Mack July 4, 2010 hence making it two years of rping her.
- My fanfiction series I have for Mack is called Shadow Mercenary. Still in writing mode.
- Mackenzie was born on March 4, 1989.
- Her parents were Michael Estacado and former guardian of the veil Nerissa. Michael died three months before Mackenzie’s birth when Nerissa used a spell to make him live longer, but the powers passed onto the offspring of his.
- Mackenzie was a bit of a bookworm throughout her school life and always hitting the books. But was picked on in her teens by a jealous girl named Stela Grundy who envied Mack’s beauty.
- Mack took self defense and all forms of martial arts since the age of 4.
- In her story, Mackenzie is Jackie Estacado’s cousin.
- Songs from a Finnish band called Nightwish inspired me to write stories.
- Mackenzie is an Italian-Spanish American descent
- On the night before she turned 21, she was almost buried alive by Stela after getting caught having sex with football players in dorms when it wasn’t allowed and was reported anonymously by Mack. But when she(Mack) tried to climb out of the open grave hole, the clock struck midnight and her powers took effect.She changed since that night.
